How WedPro Pricing Works
The packages displayed above are starting points, not fixed prices. Every WedPro wedding is quoted individually based on the specific structure of your celebration — the number of events and days, the team size required, the location and any destination travel involved, whether you want photography alone or the combined photo-and-film package, and any special creative or logistical requirements. We do not quote by phone or approximate verbally. Every proposal is a written, itemised document that shows exactly what you are investing in before any booking decision is made. Our full services overview explains what each component of coverage entails.
The primary factors that affect the final quote are straightforward. Number of days and events is the largest variable — a single-day wedding with four events costs less than a three-day celebration with twelve. Team size is the second variable — a full multi-photographer team costs more than a single lead photographer for an intimate ceremony, but the coverage quality difference is significant and worth understanding before making a decision based on price alone. Location is the third variable — weddings within Delhi NCR incur no travel costs, while destination weddings in Rajasthan, Goa, or internationally require team travel and accommodation to be quoted separately and transparently. The addition of cinematic film coverage is a separate line item, as is drone coverage. Your final quote will show every element broken down individually so you understand exactly what each component contributes to the total investment.
Our deposit structure is designed to spread the investment across your engagement period while protecting both parties. A 30% booking deposit is required to confirm your date — this is non-refundable because it takes your date out of availability permanently and prevents us from accepting other bookings. A second instalment of 40% is due two months before your wedding, giving you time to manage your pre-wedding budget accordingly. The final 30% is due on the morning of the wedding day. There are no hidden charges, no processing fees, and no surprises. Bank transfer, UPI, and cheque are all accepted. Our complete payment terms are in your contract, which you receive before making any commitment. Visit our wedding photography checklist for guidance on the full preparation process.
What is always included in every WedPro package, regardless of tier, includes: the lead photographer you met during consultation, pre-wedding preparation including a detailed shot list review, coverage of all contracted events, individually edited photographs delivered through a private online gallery, and permanent download access to your files. What is not included unless specifically added: album design and production, additional editing revisions beyond the standard scope, coverage hours beyond the contracted period, and destination travel logistics. Every included and excluded item is written into your proposal before signing. Contact us to begin the custom quote process for your specific wedding.
A Different Perspective
Understanding Wedding Photography Investment
The conventional advice in wedding planning is to allocate approximately 10% of the total wedding budget to photography. In our experience, couples who follow this rule and invest proportionately in their photography consistently report the highest levels of satisfaction with that decision in the years after their wedding. The logic is straightforward: of all the things you will spend money on at your wedding, photography is the only one that lasts unchanged. The flowers are beautiful for a day and then gone. The food is consumed. The venue is returned to its normal operations by Monday morning. The outfits go into storage. The DJ's music fades. But the photographs sit on your wall, fill your albums, and live in your family's consciousness for generations. This is not a justification for any specific price — it is a framework for thinking about the relative value of different wedding expenditures honestly. Read our detailed wedding photography service guide to understand exactly what you receive.
Why the cheapest option is rarely the best value deserves an honest explanation. Professional wedding photography involves significant real costs that cannot be reduced below a certain floor: professional camera bodies and lenses (a single professional body costs four to eight lakhs), lighting equipment, memory cards and backup systems, insurance, post-production software licenses, the time required for individual editing (a full wedding gallery takes 40 to 60 hours of post-production), and the experience built over years of shooting. When a photographer offers a price dramatically below the market rate, they are cutting somewhere — either on equipment, experience, editing quality, or the reliability of backup systems. The couples who come to us after a disappointing experience with a low-cost photographer consistently describe the same pattern: beautiful preview images that looked good on social media, followed by a full gallery that was inconsistent, poorly edited, and delivered late. The savings are real at the point of booking. The regret is real for much longer.
The longevity argument for photography investment is one that becomes clearer with time. Couples who come back to visit us — often bringing their children, sometimes to book us for a bridal portrait session years later — consistently say the same thing: of all the money spent on the wedding, the photography money aged best. The dress is in a box. The venue has changed ownership. The flowers are long gone. But the photographs are exactly as vivid and as meaningful as they were the first time they opened the gallery. The investment in truly excellent photography compounds over time in a way that no other wedding expenditure does, because every time the album is opened — at anniversaries, at holidays, when children ask to see — it pays its original cost back in emotional wealth. Book a consultation and let us help you understand how to structure the photography investment for your specific wedding.
How to evaluate a photography quote is a skill worth developing before you begin comparing options. The first thing to look for in any quote is itemisation: a quote that simply says "wedding photography — Rs X" tells you nothing about what you are buying. A professional quote specifies the events covered, the number of photographers, the image count, the delivery timeline, the editing process, and every included and excluded element. The second thing to look for is clarity about who specifically will photograph your wedding — the person you are meeting, or an associate. The third is the backup plan: is it specified? Is it credible? The fourth is the contract: is it detailed, or is it vague in ways that benefit the vendor rather than the client? A quote that answers all of these questions clearly and in writing, at a price that reflects the evident quality of the portfolio, is a quote worth considering seriously. Our FAQ page addresses the most common questions about evaluating photography proposals.
