Our Approach
The WedPro Way
In an era of digital galleries and social media previews, there is something irreplaceable about a physical album — the weight of it in your hands, the way the paper holds light, the ritual of sitting with your family and turning pages through a wedding that already feels like it happened in another life. Research on digital storage behaviour consistently shows that families who invest in physical photo products engage more meaningfully with those images over time than families who rely solely on digital files. A hard drive fails. A cloud service changes its business model. But a well-made physical album, kept away from direct sunlight and humidity, will outlast every screen you will ever own. At WedPro, we design and produce luxury flush-mount albums using Italian binding materials and archival-quality printing that is guaranteed to last well beyond a hundred years.
Every album we produce is a custom design project, not a templated layout with your photographs dropped into pre-set slots. Our in-house design team begins with your complete wedding gallery and approaches it the way an editor approaches a manuscript — identifying the narrative thread that runs through your specific wedding, selecting the images that carry the most visual and emotional weight, and building spread compositions that honour both the individual photograph and the page it sits on. The sequence of your album tells the story of your wedding in the same order it was lived: the quiet intimacy of the morning preparation, the building energy of the baraat, the sacred stillness of the pheras, the release of the reception. Every transition between events is handled with compositional intention, so the album reads not as a collection of photographs but as a single, coherent visual narrative.
The flush-mount construction is what separates a luxury album from a conventional photographic book. In a flush-mount album, each spread is a single solid substrate — a rigid, archival board — with images printed on both surfaces and the whole unit mounted so that the book opens completely flat. This construction allows images to print seamlessly across the full double-page spread without the gutter break in the middle that interrupts conventional album layouts. A photograph of your baraat procession can sweep from edge to edge across a full 28-inch spread without a single centimetre of image being lost. The physical experience of opening a flush-mount album — the smooth, heavy feel of the pages, the way images seem to float on the surface — is fundamentally different from any other photo book format.
Cover options for our luxury albums are chosen from a curated range of materials imported from the same Italian manufacturers who supply the world's leading publishing and luxury goods houses. Genuine leather is available in a range of twelve colours, from deep cognac and burgundy to soft cream and natural tan. Linen fabric covers provide a softer, more tactile surface in neutral palettes. Our most distinctive option is the crystal acrylic face cover — a 5mm sheet of optically clear acrylic with a full-bleed photograph permanently mounted beneath, creating a cover that is simultaneously a piece of art and a durable protective surface. For couples who want a personalised monogram or custom embossing on their cover, we offer foil-stamped text and logo options in gold, silver, and rose gold.
Page counts and album sizes are decisions that should be made in conversation with your design team, not chosen from a dropdown menu. Our standard albums are 12 x 14 inches — the format that provides enough surface area for photographs to be displayed with genuine impact. A 30-spread album (60 pages) comfortably holds 100 to 180 photographs depending on spread composition, which is sufficient for a full single-day wedding or a focused selection from a multi-day event. For couples who want comprehensive multi-day coverage — mehndi, haldi, sangeet, ceremony, and reception all documented in one album — we offer extended albums of up to 60 spreads. Parent albums are available in a 10 x 10 inch format and are typically produced as smaller-format companions to the main album, containing the same design adapted for the smaller size.
The design and revision process is collaborative, transparent, and unhurried. After completing the initial album design, we present the full layout as a high-resolution digital PDF for your review. This presentation allows you to see every spread in sequence, evaluate the image selection and composition choices, and identify any changes you want to make. You receive two full rounds of revision — which covers the vast majority of adjustments couples wish to make. Revisions can include image swaps (replacing one photograph with an alternative from the gallery), crop adjustments (repositioning the frame within a spread), sequence changes (reordering spreads or moving events), and cover material or colour changes. We ask that each revision round be submitted as a single compiled document so we can address everything in one design session.
Production and shipping of the finished album from our Italian manufacturing partner takes 8 to 10 weeks from the date of final design approval. This is not a timeline we can accelerate — the binding, printing, and finishing processes are done by hand by skilled craftspeople, and the quality of the result depends on that unhurried attention. We provide tracking information once the album ships, and delivery to India is managed through our logistics partner with full customs handling included. The album arrives in a custom-printed rigid presentation box — a gift-ready presentation that many couples choose to save for their first wedding anniversary.
Parent albums are one of our most appreciated add-on products, and they represent exceptional value for couples who want to gift both families with a tangible record of the celebration. Parent albums are produced in a 10 x 10 inch format using the same flush-mount construction and archival materials as the main album, with a design adapted from the main layout to suit the smaller format. They can be identical to the parent album sequence or customised slightly — for instance, featuring more images of the bride's family in the bride's parents' album and more images of the groom's family in the groom's parents' album. Many couples present parent albums at their wedding anniversary or as a delayed wedding gift, particularly when post-wedding production timelines extend into the first year of marriage.
Archival chemistry is the foundation on which everything else in album production rests. Our printing partner uses pigment-based inks rather than dye-based inks — the critical distinction that determines long-term colour stability. Dye-based inks, used by most consumer photo labs, fade measurably within ten to fifteen years under normal display conditions. Pigment-based inks, using the same archival ink chemistry as museum print laboratories, retain colour accuracy for well over a hundred years when stored correctly. The substrates — the paper and board materials used in the album — are all acid-free and lignin-free, which means they will not yellow or degrade through the chemical breakdown that affects conventional photographic papers over time. When we say a WedPro luxury album is built to last a hundred years, this is a specification, not a marketing claim.
The album as heirloom is not a metaphor we use lightly. We have spoken to couples who opened their parents' or grandparents' wedding albums for the first time as adults and described the experience as one of the most emotionally powerful moments they can remember — not because the photographs were technically extraordinary, but because they were real, physical, tangible connections to people they loved across time. The album you commission today may be the object your grandchildren open in sixty years, trying to understand who you were and what your love looked like at its beginning. We design and produce every album with that legacy in mind — not as a product to be delivered and forgotten, but as an object that will matter more, not less, with the passing of decades.

How We Work
Our Process
Gallery Curation
We review your complete wedding gallery and curate a selection of the strongest 200 to 300 images specifically suited to album design — considering light, composition, narrative flow, and variety across ceremonies and people.
Custom Spread Design
Our design team builds every spread individually — no templates. We present the complete album layout as a digital PDF for your review, with detailed notes on design choices and narrative intent.
Revision & Approval
You receive two full rounds of revisions — adjusting image selections, cover style, spread compositions, and any specific preferences. We finalise only when you are completely satisfied with every page.
Production & Delivery
Your album is produced at our partner printing facility in Italy using archival inks and acid-free materials. Production takes 8 to 10 weeks. Delivery includes a custom presentation box and a digital backup of the complete album layout.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked
A flush-mount album uses pages made from a single solid substrate rather than paper folded at a spine. This construction allows images to be printed seamlessly across the full double-page spread without the gutter interruption seen in conventional albums. The result is a book-quality product with a far more dramatic visual impact — panoramic spreads can run uninterrupted from edge to edge across a 28-inch surface.
